RESEARCH & FUNDING

The Coronary Thrombosis Trust has insufficient funds to supply Universities with grants for the employment of research workers. Therefore we are obliged, reluctantly, to provide only small amounts of money to enable researchers in post to do preliminary studies, the results of which may enable them to obtain larger grants from other bodies.

A much greater impact could be made if we had sufficient funds to support Universities in the employment of researchers dedicated to the problem of coronary thrombosis. For this we very much need your donations.

No grant applications can be accepted until further notice because of some loss of assets of the Trust with invested funds during the economic downturn (though NOT in Icelandic banks!). 

We urgently need donations to enable us to re-commence grants.
