Other research news

An article in the January 2003 New Scientist (p-36-39) reminds people that half the sufferers from heart attacks due to coronary heart disease (CHD) have normal cholesterol levels in the blood. There are more fundamental things going on in CHD than problems from raised cholesterol – see atherosclerosis and lipids in our questions and answers section.
